Author nadamucho   Filed under Music, Music and the Internet, Upcoming Shows, Venues & Record Shops   July 10, 2008

SpindriftFlierWould-be stalkers of L.A. fuzz-rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club take note: a couple band members are coming to Seattle to see their buddies in Spindrift (members of the Warlocks & Brian Jonestown Massacre) play the Mars Bar on Friday night. They are even rumored to be sitting in on a few songs.

Stargazing aside, Spindrift are excellent. They are travelling with a band called Go Fever. Also on the bill is Kerry from Das Llamas new band, See Me River.

If that wasn’t enough, the lovely and talented Ms. Momma Casserole will DJ.

Friday, July 11  – Mars Bar
8:30 p.m. $7. 21+

Don’t Call it a Blog-back (I been here for years) …plus…Black Mountain!

Author nadamucho   Filed under Music, NW Show Critic

Ah yes…nothing like a classic L.L. Cool J quote lead off my first post (Radio and Bigger & Deffer are both classics btw, despite the man’s recent acting atrocities.)

So hey there music nerds, it’s me, NadaMucho.com. I’ve been reading this here NW Music Blog for months now and covering local music and culture over at my own site since 1997. I’m tickled pink to be contributing to this fine blog.

I want to start out by telling you to GO BUY THE BLACK MOUNTAIN album. Like, NOW.

If you are a big phat dummy, like me, you missed their sold out show at Neumos earlier this year. Here’s hoping they are still playing small venues when they come back to Seattle.
