Russian Circles at Neumos 6/09/2008
This coming Monday, Russian Circles will be rocking at Neumos. The instrumental Chicago band just released their second full-length album, Station, and I have not been able to stop listening to it. It is intense, immediate, and gripping in ways not usual for music without vocals.
Station was recorded here in Seattle at Studio Litho by Matt Bayles and was released by local label, Suicide Squeeze. It also features These Arms Are Snakes guitarist Brian Cook and Past Lives/ex-Bloodbrothers bass player Morgan Henderson.
Daughters and Young Widows open the show. It should be good.
