A Reason to go to Folklife????

I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Christina Antipa. t  I just discovered her for myself a couple of weeks ago.  Normally performing at DIY house shows, Ms. Antipa is doing Seattle a big favor by sharing her beautiful voice and gifted songwriting with the rest of us this Sunday at the Vera.  Yes its part of Folklife, but she is joined on the bill by other very interesting acts including Calvin Johnson.  So don’t worry; there will be hippies there but they won’t be all grey-bearded and tie-dyed.  They will be young and beautiful just like you.  Seriously, check Christina’s music out for yourself: myspace.com/christinaantipaVera Project located on the corner of Warren & Republican Ave N, next to the Key Arena in Seattle Center. Christina is on at 5:15 on Sunday afternoon
