Also, as part of the Sub Pop celebration, The Gutter Twins, Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers) and Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, QOTSA), will be playing at the Showbox on Saturday July 12th.

And the goddamn VASELINES will also be reuniting to play SP20 on Saturday; their first US show EVER!

The real question is: “is anyone gonna be able to talk Matt Lukin out of hiding in the North Cascades to play the Mudhoney set?” Or are we going to get the second-decade iteration of the band.

I won’t complain either way. While I consider their post-Lukin recorded catalogue to be entirely irrelevant, Guy Maddison has proven to be an admirable replacement for their live shows.

Nick Cullen Says:

I need a ticket for the July 12 show – they are sold out. Anybody have one or know where I can get one?

Thanks!
