King Cobra is owned by Che Sabado (who for five years was the owner of Seattle’s beloved punk rock bar Kincora) and Jamie Garza (promoter in Bremerton’s all-ages music scene), and is run by an all-star mix of Seattle’s favorite bartenders, security staff and devoted music fans. King Cobra passionately supports the local community, including hosting an all-star monthly MusiCares benefit, and will feature live music by local and national artists several nights a week. On the nights without live music, King Cobra has already become a favorite rock & roll clubhouse with pinball, surprise guest DJs, a jukebox, custom mural artwork by renowned local artist Joe Vollan, and plenty of cozy corners for hanging out. While we pride ourselves on being Seattle’s home for rock and roll, we hope to contribute to making the Capitol Hill neighborhood a destination for music fans of all types.

King Cobra is also available for select private events, and will have a full kitchen very soon.

King Cobra is located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood at 916 E. Pike Street near the corner of Pike and Broadway. Our daily hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday, 6pm to 2am. The lounge (and soon-to-be kitchen) will be open for business prior to most shows.

The press release is interesting. Especially for an old school lard ass like me! But I’ve been down this road before…will King Cobra be different? Who cares! It’s here and now so I’m going to live in the moment. Thanks Kevin for posting your take about King Cobra and the Crocodile on my blog.
