I had goosebumbs when Jenn Ghetto said,"this is a cover" and then launched into "all apologies and smiles, yours truly ugly valentine" by Carissa's Wierd. I like Grand Archives but don't love them. I thought Sera Cahoone stole the show. I will also be at the Vince Mira show, but I'm mostly looking foward to seeing Lonesome Rhoads and Michael Vermillion. I was also at the early show. Seattle's little Vegas venue. And I agree with the Bethinator, 2 $7 Martinis go much further than 1 Pad Thai. AND where the hell else can you see a show and sip a martini!?!? I'll be there for Vince Mira on Tuesday. Make mine EXTRA dry. Now tell me, is "Mr. Hatchet" just out of frame in that Grand Archives photo...? Looks like Millersyvania to me. I haven't listened to Sera Cahoone or Ghetto - I'm going to check them both out based on your review. Nice work. I too am a fan of the triple door (great short person venue - I don't have to smell armpits all night) but if I remember rightly - I'd rather spend the $15 on martini's.
