I randomly saw this a month or so ago at the Can Can meeting friends for drinks. The 4 year-old on stage doing “Folsom Prison Blues” was up there in pure weirdness (though not as freaked-out) as the Spoonman’s Georgetown Music Festival show with a three year-old girl in sundress.

I’m sure everyone on the Sound mailing list got the invite. I was lured in by the beer myself. Figured it would be slammed with moochers like myself but the crowd was pretty lax. Oh well, catch the show at the 3-door and it’ll be like you didn’t miss anything at all.

dammit i’m so pissed i missed that show! I got a free invite from the Sound and everything. plus Roy Kay and his Trio are great to watch, and much less to have missed the prodigy Vince, i had no idea they were his backing band… sounds like it was a spiritual moment.
