TOO SLIM & THE TAILDRAGGERS @ the Triple Door $30
Not too sure about the band here, but The triple door is an incredible place to be spending the new year. The Chef from Wild Ginger is supposed to be concocting some dinner specials for the eveining.

Ticket price includes masquerade mask. Black tie and formal wear encouraged
Being dressed to the nines and anonymous for New Years in an environment of sex and rock and roll has its benefits…
Sweetwater @ Crocodile $22The Croc is no more…
Bringing it back ol-skool with the Sweetwater
Finally, NWMB recommends
THE LASHES,THE TRUCKS, FERAL CHILDREN, FLYING FOX more! @ Comet Tavern $12
This line-up for this price @ the Comet. This is going to rock. It can’t be beat.
Go there, bring cash, drink cheap pints of High Life, rock out and have a happy New Year!
I saw the Taildraggers at the Winthrop Blues Festival back in 2003 (I think). It was pretty good, in fact, but 30 bones seems kind of steep. It’s your classic Honky-tonk white man music.
That show at the Comet will be a good one…
Come on – how can you pass up Sweetwater?! The only reason I went to Living Colour in 94 was to see Sweetwater open at the Paramount. Sure, they’re older (aren’t we all) and not as “hip” as other bands but they were part of the original seattle scene.
Sweetwater was, in fact, one of my favorite local bands when I was a wee lad. I would definitely see them play if I got the chance.
Sweeeet….
