93.3 KTCL is Fucking Terrible
I’m in Denver now, and I have to say 93.3 KTCL is the worst radio station I’ve heard in a long time. KTCL promotes itself as new/cool/hip, but it’s just another Clear Channel drivel outlet. It’s sad but unsurprising (in this day and age) turn for a radio station I listened to 10+ years ago in college, when it was listenable.

Dude - you are so right. KTCL has sucked ass for years. I contacted one of their DJs to bitch about the station and he had the balls to defend their format. Back in the day (when it was an independent in Ft. Collins) it was one of the best stations on the radio. What’s cool and hip about a corporate sellout?

Maybe it’s not the radio station, but maybe it’s today’s music. Kinda’ sucky these days with all the whiny male singers doing ballads of how they have been wrongs - isn’t that shit for girls? If it’s not slow it’s got that poppy quality you can find on any Top 40 station…i.e., Zombies Ate My Neighbors by Single File. Just seems like every voice sounds the same these days.
