Then Radiohead protogé Aqualung played their brand of rock last night Saturday night to a very appreciative, sold-out Showbox crowd.  [foreshadowing again.]

This NW Show Critic entry isn’t exactly blowing the top off the Excitement Meter, I know. [rising action.] There’s a reason: I just didn’t get into either of the bands. [inciting force or crisis.]

That probably has something to do with not having gotten into the bands before the show. Which probably has something to do with not having ever heard them, save a few Aqualung tracks on KEXP. I enjoyed Aqualung. [resolution.]
